Οι ιδιοκτήτες του Pixel 7 αναφέρουν στο Twitter και το Reddit ότι το γυαλί που καλύπτει την πίσω κάμερα του τηλεφώνου θρυμματίζεται, παρά το γεγονός ότι το τηλέφωνο προφανώς δεν έχει χτυπηθεί ή πέσει. Το PhoneArena και το Android Police συγκέντρωσαν φωτογραφίες από πολυάριθμους ιδιοκτήτες που δείχνουν τη ζημιά στις συσκευές τους, με αναφορές που εκτείνονται τουλάχιστον μέχρι τον Νοέμβριο – μόλις ένα μήνα μετά τη γενική διάθεση του τηλεφώνου.
Οι φωτογραφίες που αναρτήθηκαν στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης δείχνουν τόσο τα τηλέφωνα Pixel 7 των 599 δολαρίων όσο και τα τηλέφωνα Pixel 7 Pro των 899 δολαρίων να υποφέρουν από το πρόβλημα. Οι ιδιοκτήτες αναφέρουν ότι τους αναφέρθηκαν από 200 έως πάνω από 400 δολάρια για την αποκατάσταση της βλάβης, αν και άλλοι λένε ότι η Google συμφώνησε να πραγματοποιήσει επισκευές στο πλαίσιο της εγγύησης.

I would strongly avoid the Pixel 7 series from @madebygoogle. There is a manufacturing defect and poor QA that leads to shattered camera lenses.
